Brodeur Machine Company established

Brodeur Machine Company was established on Shaw St. in New Bedford by Clement A. Brodeur

BMC is asked to create and fabricate a pump to raise the Arizona Sword from the Cape Cod canal

establishing the reputation for taking on difficult jobs

Clement retires & relinquishes shares to his sons

eventually leaving Raymond Sr. and Andy as co-owners and the 2nd generation

BMC Fabricates titanium arm for the Alvin

Raymond Sr. passes away and his sons Ray & Mark join Andy to run the shop

Andy passes and Ray and Mark take over as co-owners

ushering in the 3rd generation

Large Addition is made to the shop

including increasing the overhead lifting capacity to 100 tons

Cape Cod CANAL Rail Bridge Repair and Rebuild

100 year anniversary
